Hi, I’m Alex! I founded Stitch Avenue in 2024 after discovering my love for needlepoint and the creative outlet it provides. I grew up being surrounded by craft and tradition as my English grandmother was an avid seamstress, knitter, and cross-stitcher. Her passion for handwork left a lasting impression on me.
Growing up in Maryland, I have always been drawn to the charm of coastal living. Now living in New York City, I aim to bring together coastal influences and the energy of urban life to create canvases for the modern stitcher.
Needlepoint has brought me so much joy, from its meditative process to the sense of community it fosters, and I’m excited to share that love through my designs. I hope you enjoy!
